At The Recovery Team, we understand that reaching out for help is not easy. This process is oftentimes associated with unwanted feelings or thoughts. Common Admission Process Questions

How do I get my flight?

We help coordinate and book arrangements for your travel to our drug and alcohol treatment facility in South Florida. We provide transportation from Palm Beach International Airport,  Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, and Miami International Airport, to our facility.

How do I get from the airport to the facility once I arrive?

Our Admissions team will coordinate with a member of our transportation staff, who will  then receive your flight schedule and travel information. We will arrange for you to be picked up from the airport and driven to our facility, where you will  be greeted by our staff.

How soon after the pre-admission assessment would I be able to come to the facility for treatment ?

Generally, we get our clients to our facility within 24 hours of the pre-admission assessment, as long as all other criteria have been assessed and met. During this time, our team will be in constant contact with you to ensure your safety and arrival to our facility.

What will happen to my personal items if they are not deemed ‘appropriate’ for my stay?

On the day you arrive, you’ll check your bags in while completing paperwork and getting settled. We’ll take a look at your belongings to make sure you’ve brought only appropriate items for your stay during treatment. Personal items deemed not appropriate to have during treatment will be sent home with the accompanying family member or stored and returned to you at your discharge.

Let’s get you or a loved one help with a few simple steps.

Step 1: Contact Us 

When you call The Recovery Team, a member of our admissions team will diligently work with you over the phone to complete a pre-admission assessment. This assessment is a 15-to-30 minute clinical evaluation of your substance abuse history and behavioral health issues such as anxiety, depression, or mood disorders. This will allow our team to truly understand your personal needs, and create a detailed individualized plan that is tailored specifically to you. 

Step 2: Financial Review

To expedite the admissions process, we will collect your insurance and financial information in the initial assessment, if applicable. Once we verify insurance benefits, a member of our team will walk you through your co-pays and payment options, and then decide whether our facility is the right match for your individual needs.

STEP 3: TRAVEL
